    Mr

Hi there. Take a look on Guntrader. Alternatively, if your current chokes are too tight, a decent gunsmith can open them out. You could likely also get the barrels Teagued for multi chokes.

    Left handed confusion...

It's less about the gun, than the shoulder you shoot it from, though obviously cast will make a difference. If you are truly right eye dominant, then shooting left handed will mean that you will tend to shoot in front of L2R crossers and behind R2L crossers. It is certainly possible to correct...

    Plastic or Fibre Wad

I leave you alone for 5 minutes and it's 'handbags at dawn'! 😉 Try and keep it reasonably civil please. Oh, and you can't blame Greta for anything she says, or seriously question her about it as she is a child; that's why they are using her.

Steel shot cartridges £100 per 1000

They don't do loss leaders (don't need to), they do however buy in the 'cock ups'. They had some steel a while back that the shot sizes weren't what was marked on the cases, sold them off cheap

Steel shot cartridges £100 per 1000

All of them? I'm not aware of any that don't like steel. Are they? Was in there the other day, didn't notice, just checked their website too. Cheapest is SuperSteel 21g £143/k

Looking for newer shooters in Dartford/Kent area

Why do you want to shoot with 'new shooters' in particular?  I can understand if you might feel intimidated, but you will learn more if you shoot with (the right) experienced shooters. If you are at Dartford, look for the short guy with 'Pitbull' written on his back (sounds counterintuitive I...

    Steel for clays

Steel won't kill barrels; 1) The shot is contained in a plastic cup, so it won't touch the barrel walls.  2) It isn't 'steel', it's soft iron and is not as hard as chrome lined barrels, or unchromed barrels.

    Superfast cap size fire cart

If you go through each cartridge individually, and bang each one on the bottom with a hammer, this will broaden the rim and stop the problem ....  Use a wide hammer though, or you might set the primer off, which would just be stupid ....  JOKE! JOKE! JOKE! JOKE! JOKE...

    Lead ban again !

I was quoting the atomic weight of those metals, which of course, is pertinent.  Naturally, looking for a metal, I would not be considering isotopes of Radon. Are you a chemist? I think Thorium is the answer to most of our problems.   If they would build Thorium fuelled, molten salt reactors...

    Lead ban again !

My point exactly! The question was "why there isn't a credible ... alternative?" The reason, is that the only elements close to lead in density, are either too soft, too dangerous, to expensive or Bismuth! Thorium is plentiful...let's try that.

    Browning or Beretta

A Browning will make your day, a Beretta will make your hole weak... ...something like that...

    Browning or Beretta

Nothing wrong with any of those guns, all will provide years of service. The 525 is a "big Browning", like the Miroku and will shoot differently to the more svelte, Silver Pigeon and 725. The SP1 is very reliable, compared to some of the newer models of Beretta, which have had some teething...

    Dilly-Dallying

Holding on too long, is often caused by picking up too soon, on a bird that gives you lots of time. I shoot gun down, so if a bird gives me lots of time, I will hold my gun lower and mount more slowly, so that I am not tracking the clay too long. Iggy is right too about setup. If you setup on...
