    I think with cartridges if you perceive that one cartridge gives you an advantage then you should use that cartridge. The theory being physcologically you will feel more confident and more than likely shoot better.

    Who uses what length barrells for game?

    26" and a 28" depending on sxs or o/u. Personal choice never been a fan of drain pipe length barrels but perhaps because I learnt to shoot with a short barrelled gun.
