    If you want keep an eye on the weather I think the nearest weather station is at Treuddyn, which is around 5 minutes drive from Fauxdegla, although it is a bit lower than the shooting ground itself.     It's very open moorland scenery with only a few trees. So the course tends to be based around making the targets themselves quite challenging, rather than relying on the background for interest. I usually think its quite a tough course. Fauxdegla is also renowned for having its own weather...
