That looks really nice.  Well done.

I sometimes can't believe the prices you folks live with.  A high quality adjusto job here can be had for $200.  The market scale factor in action I suppose.

I think the £300 that he was quoted, was exceptionally high.

Simon at Doveridge can normally do a very nice job for about £190

In that case $10 a gallon of unleaded will make your eyes water!! It does mine.

I don't know if that is the same size gallon but I def planned my activities well at $5/gal and it is still  - - well I'm not going into that

At $10/gal I'm pretty sure I'd be going electric - even if it was only a golf cart and my bicycles would deff be more involved in my everyday running around.  I suspect the majority of my petrol $ would be spent traveling to places where I could shoot oil company execs.  A public service I strongly espouse.

Its the government, not the oil companies, with all the duties, taxes and VAT!

£1.25 per litre  is $7.60 per US gallon (unleaded) diesel is $7.90/gal

50MPukG is is 41MPusG (US gallon being 3.7l uk being 4.5 ) based on diesel price and modern diesel car economy (even SUVs do 50 mpg driven gently)

18.5c a mile at uk prices and economy doesn't seem to bad, i guess you have to drive a lot more miles!

I know nothing about the corp situation in GB but in the US the oil co. profits are beyond obscene

that and the BS legislators' blather about energy independence when the US EXports as much oil as it IMports leaves no doubt about the level of greed and just who is sucking what
