I'm John and I live in Warwick - I've been shooting clays for almost 5 years having never fired a shotgun until I was 50. I've also never shot a registered round so the CPSA database has a round zero for me...

My 1st gun - which I still have is a 30" Browning Ultra XS Titanium Prestige and I've recently experienced a 33" HPX Perazzi MX12 Reference Sporter and now have one on order.

I mucked about shooting occasionally for years (less so than you seem to now). All I can say is that shooting became `alive` and meaningful once I started registered shoots. Give it a go. More friendly than you may think and give you an average to chase.
