Just looked it up ,

certainly look's good with interesting features. Depend's how it feel's and shoot's though. Beretta's and Mirook's usually handle very differently. Which do you fancy the most?

Can I keep my Audi ?? I think I'm going to have a chat with Brett Hand at Brierley Gun, I could always go down the road of a standerd Mk38 with as you say

alterations to suite me, which is probably take up table tennis , I have looked at the beretta 692 photos look nice
I'd say take your time, stay with your "Audi" while you try some different guns at clays, work out what you want/need from a clay gun and once you have a better idea about style, balance, barrel lenth, make and model part with your cash...it's up to you!!!

True I like  My Miroku,  I have Teague extended chokes fr it a nd use 1/4 and 1/2 for clays  I'm not a small guy at 6ft 3 and ex rugby player build, it seems to suite me , I was just phishing about the Beretta it looks a lovely gun

as Bryan said has some "interesting Features"  but I have never picked one up ,

As Dark says I'll take my time and shoot into the spring until I make a decision.. then look at something that can improve on  Mk70

Thank you for your time and comments , I'll take the advice forward and endeavour to improve . and try not to be to much of a nuisance

You won't be a nuisance , ask as much as you like .Those who ask question's want to learn. :)

Good plan.

Nothing wrong with the MK70 but it's very different in character from the Italian guns. I had a Miroku for 4 years and just couldn't get on with it but zillions do. Likewise, zillions of others get on better with Italian handling. The best advice I know is to take every possible opportunity to try as many guns as you can before deciding on anything.

BTW I may have missed it but did you mention what type of shooting you do?

Agree with Westwood.

Try others, but I’m sure you will stick with the MK70 for sporting. They have normal sized bores and 2 ¾ chambers, and are a lot easier to keep clean (not as much leading). If you shoot plaswads the back bored MK38 is fine but they don’t seem to like fibre wads as much. The performance between the short chokes on the MK70 and long chokes on the MK38 is a debatable subject. My experience is that there is no appreciable difference.

Sorry to differ mine has long chokes Invictor Plus  a back board barrel and 3 inch chamber marked for steel . seems the spec changed to the same as the

Browning something or other . according to the people who know Miroku site has never been updated . This is the review when it came out http://www.gunmart.net/gun_review/miroku_mk70_sporter/?utm_source=gun_reviews&utm_medium=site&utm_campaign=rl

mine is marked as manufactured in 2011  ZZ

sorry shoot over 1800 acres of farm land , and local sporting clay. and Hodnet when I have a lesson . if the snow ever goes ;-(
