I quite like the look of them and would like to have a semi auto in my little collection

Had one for about a year, the first one I had self destructed... wood cracked and the mechanism failed to operate consistently..that was replaced without quibble by GMK ( so no complaints on Beretta service ) the replacement gun came with the 10 year warranty and I only I one minor issue with it which was resolved. Enjoyed shooting it but it wouldn't cycle 24g shells ... easy to shoot and load but like the krypton factor if you want to seperate the barrel from the receiver!

A definite try before you buy gun and make sure it has the remainder of the Beretta warranty.
Cheers they've had issues so to say! I'll do some investigating!

Sportsman Guncentre Exeter had a rack of them recently and were knocking them out cheap(ish).

They weren't flying out the door though!!

It's similar to the Peugeot 1007 with sliding doors..................I see what you've done there but why ? Different is good when it has a purpose but the UGB25 doesn't do a single thing better than anything else, it even shoots itself in the foot by not being gas operated which is a major reason people buy semi automatics because that makes them shoot softer !

On top of that it's unwieldy, complex and difficult to sell or trade in.

But apart from that Hammy.....

.......

I'll have two please. :.:
You'd better get down to Greenfield's sharpish then. They've got 2 on the rack which were originally bought by a husband and wife.

One of the few good things about them is that most of them are trap guns and the downwards ejection and break open barrel overcome the two main objections to using semi autos for trap shooting.

The 1007 (the 107 has ordinary doors, I know 'cos I've got one).  I did look at one when they first came out, but only because the sliding doors would have made it much easier to get a disabled person in and out of the passenger seat.

I agree sliding doors are a boon for disabled access but the car itself would then need to be bigger than a 1007, like say the Kangoo or Berlingo.

Yup, that's part of the reason I didn't get one.

I did see someone using a UGB at Northall the other week.  Must admit I was interested enough to look them up online afterwards.  Think I'll stick with my ancient Beretta A300 after what I've read here.

Matched pair???    Mmmmmm nice!
Yep, Both in mint condition having only fired approximately 1,000 cartridges each. The price is very reasonable too.

I believe the UGB is still available through Beretta's custom shop at around the £4-5,000 mark.

One of my friends has one which he shot very well with. I believe GMK exchanged his first one as he had problems with it but the one that he has now has been fault free.

It remains to be seen if they will have any investment value in the future. Only time will tell.

Just had another look at these guns, not only are they absolutely as new but they are also consecutive numbers.

I have a lesson there on saturday, go on how many pennies?

Just donate a grand to the NSPCC - it will be cheaper in the long run and you'll do a bit of good.
