I'll cop to being not so bright but it will always puzzle me as to why any gunmaker will even bother to plunge into a market attempting to sell a gun devoid of any particular innovation and for all practical purposes identical to the existing long term competition.

I know shooters are not necessarily mental giants (Krieghoffs still sell for example) but is there really that much loose gun money floating around?
