There is much debate in Australia at the moment about Olympic Shooter Lauryn Mark about to pose nude in a Mens Magazine. She is about to compete at your London Olympic Games

Personally I think it will be good for the sport as shooting here needs a younger sexier image, but some here don't see it that way.

The story is she got paid $50,000 for the photos, but she is donating all the money to the Royal Children's Hospital here in Melbourne, Australia.

Let me know your honest opinions please.

Ken

The magazine posted these pics before its release in July.

It is the talk of the shooting world down under today

$50,000 can buy a lot for that children's hospital so good on her ;) ;) .. and she would bare more when on a beach so i don't see the problem

How come your type is so small, I had to copy and paste to Word and enlarge it to read it.

As for the lady in question     Where's the drool smilie.

Lovely! Meanwhile, were did the Gamba Girls go?

Henry

If you've got it, flaunt it! Especially for a good cause. (don't forget to post the link to the pics!!!) :p :p :.: :.:

Most men won't be using their brains when passing comment on something like this, it's probably more relevant to hear what our women shooters think. If she really is about to compete at the London Olympics it could prove to be a negative portrayal of shootings image, do we really need to resort to *its and *rse?

I rather think stunners like Abbey do a classier job.

Going nude in a magazine will have minimal impact for the image of clay pigeon shooting either way, $50,000 might just buy the children's hospital a new piece of equipment. Good on her for donating the 50k, I'd have banked it and used it to fund practice/coaching in her shoes........

To be fair at this moment in time it's all speculation.

My knowledge is that it will not be a full nude shoot but tasteful, Lauren has turned the likes of Playboy etc. down point blank.

So far as I'm concerned it's supporting a fantastic cause, won't be full nude, distasteful or even topless but just in a bikini but even at that many of the beach volleyball teams and the swimmers, gymnasts etc. could in real terms be showing more.

I really cannot see why supporting a good cause whilst promoting our sport and herself is an issue providing it's tasteful...

Jon.

Fair play to her! If you've got it (and want to) then flaunt it. Kudos to her for donating it all too :)

We've got too many stuffy old farts in shooting in general. Any positive publicity is good in my view. Better than the usual negative press shooting in general gets!

watch this space for me strutting my stuff in just some Shootclay undercrackers ;) :.: ;)

If she won't be nude or if it's just super tasty shots then why would they pay her £50k?

Is this coincidence that ******** is jetting off for two weeks to an undisclosed location? ;)

Well it hardly looks like she is being forced to do it, so bloody good luck to her.

The pistol world has been using sexy women in ads for years - Glock are particularly unashamed about it.

As for Laura, well as far as I'm concerned, if she's happy enough to get 'em out, then I'm more than happy to look at 'em.

Go girl !!!
