My dt11 ejector on the bottom keeps tripping even when it has not been fired so back to crisis potter guns and back to gmk 3 weeks later and still no gun so I ring potters o! He tells me the same thing he told me last week next week way do they tell you o next week i don't get it and all thay do is piss me right off thay should not of sold me the gun if thay new their was some thing wrong with it  AhAhAhAh

I'd humbly suggest that they didn't know there was anything wrong with it.

AFAIK, Chris Potter has a good reputation and anyone I know who has previously dealt with him have been pleased.

Hope you get it sorted.  GMK aren't known for their responsiveness but I've recently seen reports of improvement.

Guns are like watches, every now and then there is one with a problem that needs sorting, I have dealt with potters before, and am sure they wouldn't knowingly sell a pup. It's frustrating I know but they will deal with it.

The problem is that the supplier does not care less once the gun is sold. This is the very reason CG has made such an impact in USA. How tricky can it be to fix, 30 mins work?? There are only 3 or 4 things that can cause the issue.

Got you over a barrel!

How true, the reality is that guns of DT11's pedigree quite simply shouldn't experience any issues for at least a few years ! It's not like it's their first competition gun, they've made bullet proof guns before so hardly sailing new seas is it.

The issue isn't Chris Potter, it's GMK and it's prioritisation and customer response time scale. They have been lacking compared to others in this area and they'll deserve losing market share.

Having said all this Miroku aren't the trouble free guns some make out, certainly no better than a good Beretta. The other small matter of detail is whether we can all get on with a Miroku, I've tried and owned a few plus a few other makes besides and always go back to Beretta because I happen to find them easier to shoot well. Mate of mine has just bought a mint DT10 left hander which I just picked up and shot like I'd owned it for years, off the right shoulder !

And yes the gun was broken when i bought it thay said when I took it it was an intermittent thought and if it happens again bring it back and it would be sent to gmk and they will courier it back but now i will probably have to collect it thay should not have sold it nowing there is even a chance there's something wrong just a bit disappointed with the service

6 of one and half a dozen of the other then - They should not have sold a 'known' faulty gun. Why did you actually buy one with a 'known' fault and still use it?

Any 'fault' gets worse, they never get better all by themselves.

As with everything there are always grey areas, some faults are intermittent, for instance some early DT10 were prone to double discharge and a few apparently broke open once fired !!

Unfortunately a retailer can be palmed off a duff gun in px (happens with cars too  ) by unscrupulous customers who are of course always in the right and beyond reproach. Not quite sure what this DT11's actual fault is but it's entirely possible for a retailer to unknowingly sell a gun with an existing fault, new or old.

I'm a little confused you're digging at them for them telling you a gun had an intermittent fault, and you bought it? so i'd expect to shoot it and it to have a fault and it to be sent away for repair which has happened!

Good news for ALL Beretta owners in the UK.

GMK have taken very positive action to improve the repair procedure of guns returned for repair to their workshop.Just have a little patience please and all will be well.

No my grumble is that they told me it would be a week and it's been 3 and it was working when I bought it but clearly there was a issue as it was on the computer thay should not sold that gun if thay new !

rolling on the floor laughing...what are they outsourcing repairs or are we getting a new importer?

No they are not outsourcing repairs, no we are not getting a new importer.

Yes you will notice a marked improvement in the quality of repairs. More than likely a quicker turn around time .

All I can say is that a recent interaction with GMK regarding a warranty item was dealt with immediately, cheerfully, and to my complete satisfaction.
