I freely admit that I went for 32 because it was what the top blokes used. Now I am used to the gun and won't be changing, but if it were 30 I am sure my scores might be similar..

I bought my first 682 as a 30", having shot and decided against the first run of the 32" versions because back then they hadn't sussed how to make long guns with lighter barrels that didn't make the gun feel nose heavy. I even tried to get the longer length by buying a 30" semi but that was no good for different reasons. When they brought out the 32" 682E version the balance thing was a revelation and will never go back. When I swing shorter guns they feel too erratic with less control.

I believe that I may well have been one of the first to ever go to 32" Barrels for clayshooting in 1984.
my dads best mate had the first 32" B25s in the country a long way back before then (probably early 70s)
