Hi All,

Looking to sell my Beretta 682- 12G It has 30” Barrels and fixed 1/4 and 1/2 chokes.

Has had a different recoil pad fitted by Philip Webster

Been looked after and had minimal use with action still tight. Selling as finding not a good fit for me and going back to my Semi Auto Beretta

Would like £500 for gun.

My son (living in Hants) has been waiting a year for a joint FAC/ Shot gun cert. He has been in touch with Winchester plod and they say they WILL be issued but not when.
The annoying thing is that he has held both before but let them lapse

Last communication I received from them was an email on 22 May that stated they were around 12 months from submission on grants.

The frustration is that as they were not one of the worst forces there's been no drive to improve, others like Cumbria and Devon and Cornwall which were historically awful seem to be making significant improvements while Hants is getting worse.

I thank my lucky stars every day that after the Doctor took 5 weeks to complete his bit () the police side only then took about another 5 weeks; that’s to be contacted, interviewed and issued the licence.

I wouldn’t say Cumbria have improved, probably worse , there some new bloke definitely rubbing people up the wrong way on inspection visits apparently you get interrogated for an hour ! You get asked a series of proposterous hypothetical questions which I certainly won’t be answering . This is south lakes by the way .

I can't comment on the actual happenings on the ground and I'm not located in Cumbria, was based on them being one of the forces with the worst backlog and BASC saying they were making progress after meeting with the Superintendent Chief Inspector.
