Not sure £650 is a good investment would guess you will be having to lay out a few more pennies on the old girl to get it up to scratch 28 inch barrels can be hard to shift should you move it on at a later date. You gets what you pay for!!!

 
Got a message from the bloke who is selling this gun today after emailing him last night says the action is tight but I'm still not convinced he said the low price was because the blueing on the barrel was abit scruffy his words not mine. Think I'll be leaving that one been offered what sounds like a nice 30" barrel beretta 686 buy Wylye just waiting on photos.

 
Fingers crossed Wylye comes up trumps for you. Bottom line is, a proper 680 series gun is a lovely bit of kit. To me, the ones with the little screw in the shoulder are "proper"

Wylye has come up trumps finners just put a deposit down on a lovely beretta 686 just gotta wait for my cert to come through. Here's a few pics.
