Just bought an evo for my lad, seems a good little gun,my mate bought a prevail,i tried it and didn,t like it at all to be honest, didn,t tell him that mind, but he didn,t think much of it either and sold it with in a year

I have the old 30" 686e and think its a bit barrel heavy so I added weight to the stock, but even without the weight both the 682 gold e and prevail 32" guns "feel" a lot lighter

I had one too and always wondered why they didn't put Gold E barrels on it, still wondering why the EVO doesn't have them. The 687 EELL sport is the only other 68X series gun with the Gold E barrels.

I think the Gold E and the Prevail with the lighter pipes have that extra nimbleness because there's a shade less inertia forward of the action. It might not add much to the scores but it certainly adds to the enjoyment of shooting.

Fantastic! My shotgun licence came in the post this morning, needless to say I am over the moon as I can now start to seriously look at my first gun,

Hi

No it's from my CPSA card? Although I only have a clubman membership at the moment.

Why is it wrong?

Ah, maybe clubman numbers are different. Others wise it looks like a number from about 2035. :)

Mine is 111458, from 2005. New ones are about 125000 I think.

Cheers
