Yes, went for the 28in. The long reciever makes it similar distance between my eye and the end of the barrel to my 30in O/U.
At least you can get it in the cabinet

Beretta do a selection of heavier front end weights that go on the forend nut relatively inexpensive.

I have some ,you could try if we shoot in the same place.
