Intrigued as to the most popular cartridge vrs price etc.

Fiocchi F black, I seem to see them being used everywhere. Seem to be affordable as well.

I only shoot plastic wads ,So fibre venues may be different.

Used Eley olympic blues for years, both plastic and fibre , never had any issues, always in stock locally but you'll get loads of opinions

IMO FBlus and FBlacks have got to be the best "bang for the buck". Any comparable cartridge from any other manufacturer is going to cost you at least £60 per thousand more.

Fiocchi F blu, F blacks in plas wad, TT1 in fibre. Gamebore velocity and hull superfast also take some beating.

I shoot Fblu and black and velocity+ or English Sporter if those are not available.

Fiochhi so far quite popular then.

Wadswick affinity 28g fibre I get around 80% with them

F Black fan myself, problem is you cant always get hold of them. I have also noticed a number of retailers have also increased their price recently

I bought a mixed 50/50 fibre /plastic lot of 1000 Olympic Blues on Wednesday , they’d gone up to £300 from the £285 paid a couple of months ago .

I was shooting with friends last Wednesday, two of whom were using Eley Blues. They were both supplied from the same source. They were complaining about how dirty their barrels were. Compared to mine with Fblues, which were almost still spotless, they really were bad. Large flakes of powder in the breech/ forcing cone areas. They were plastic wads too, I have seen cleaner barrels using fibres. I suggested they change supplier because it looked like it could be a storage issue. I have found Fblues and Fblacks, shoot well through my gun, leaving the barrels almost spotless.

F'blue and F'Black also English sporter. I've recently been using Trust cartridges which are excellent vfm.
