Just letting everyone know............

Following the loss of Reeves House farm as a shooting ground in November 2011 Bolton Gun Club have been searching for a new home. A temporary arrangement during the summer of 2012 did not result in the Ringley shoot becoming permanent.

However, the good news is that Bolton Gun Club are close to setting up at a new venue located 1/2 mile off the A580 in Astley. The organising committee are confident that the 2 year deal in place will enable them to set up the shoot to a similar standard as they enjoyed at Reeves House Farm.

Chairman, Steven Dawes, is quoted as " The opportunity exists for our club members to build a shooting site to be proud of. The search for a new home may be at an end, but the work starts now to get ourselves established as a shoot worth visiting. We have some new incentives to bring to the shoot & the success of our recent open day as part of National Shooting Week has confirmed our commitment to promoting shooting sports.
