No cast on them whatsoever. In fact they are looking at that particular problem at present

everyone i know who has tried it liked it .. has been getting great reviews too

Anyone else? I like the look of this gun and tried it at an open day last month. It felt fine and I was hitting clays with it. I would like to hear from anyone who has tried it.

Thanks, Dave.

Not much cast on it and I believe they are working on that at present. A friend of mine has just had to have his altered. Not sure I'd pay £1800 for one though.

'handled the long crosser well, but was still able to deal with the quick close stuff also'. Cut and paste for every review ever..

What is cast?
Cast is the sideways movement of the stock from the central line of the gun. Cast is referred to as ‘On’ for left and ‘Off’ for right, If you look from above you will see the stock either is in a straight line (no Cast) with the barrels or the stock is bends to one side or the other.

The 'bend' in the stock that assists with fit. I.e for a right handed shooter, the stock will be off to the right, to allow room for your cheek when lining up your eye on the rib.

Thanks Andy and Mr Clever, I will look at that when I go for my next lesson.

Dave.

I checked the gun out this spring. I feel that it is nose heavy by a big margin. The triggers are, well, you know, Browning. The compression sleeve on the chokes work to a point as the copper will retain compression. You can only so many times reseat the chokes untill the copper sleeve says: No more! Try that with your compresson sleeved speedways to your faucet! Been-there-done-that! After a few reseats of the copper compression ring, it will leak. One ads teflon tape to keep it from leaking. The best seal is a a flared fitting. Look at Beretta's chokes, they are a type of flared fitting. Look at the skirt! It will but against the barrel no matter how many times one changes chokes!

Look at Hardly -a-Yardley's review of the 725 on Youtube it's enough to put you off gameshooting for life.

I understand that there are 'issues' in America with the much vaunted mechanical triggers not working very well with ultra light loads not changing over to the second barrel. But let's face it if you put a Yank in a padded cell with a cannon ball he would break it somehow.

I do have to say that everyone that I know who has shot one likes them very much. But afraid I will not be buying one.

Why don't Browning do something like their XS Prestige or Ultra with brilliant triggers? It would be a World beater.

that doesnt even make sense, if its mechanical then surely it doesnt even require recoil to change to the other barrel.

as for the yardly video, WOW!, seems the patterns are amazing on a 5yd pheasant
