Does any one own one, the sportser inflex not the plastic one. picked one up in a store today and fitted pretty good. I have heard good and bad things about them but nothing solid. I really love the look of the gun, and was once told to own a gun you would be proud to own and shoot.

So my question is, from people who own or shoot one, what are they like ? As i really am a fan of it but have never shot one.

Have seen some very ropy looking ones after not much use, and re sale value is awful. If you really like it you won't be selling on so not a worry.

Personally I wouldn't touch with a barge pole but if it feels good and you like it, go for it!

Never shot or owned one. The least you should do is try one before actually buying one.

As others have implied, they are not the best to go for out there.

I dont know anywhere that i can try one before i buy. i also looked at a ultra xs, but really didnt fit good. also might look at a GP. But would like to have a go on a cynergy

When I was a new shooter I looked at one and was absolutely talked out of it by the gun shop! They are unlike anything else, with very odd balance. I have never seen a good shot using one in hundreds of registered shoots. If you want one, buy a used one cheaply..

Try a Browning B525 or a Berretta Silver Pigeon 1 for the same money and far more saleable if you ever choose to change guns

I did look at a B525 the black and gold one, but not sure if it was a field or sportser, but did look good.

Browning eventually saw sense and discontinued them. I know a couple of chaps who have them and shoot fairly well.

Resale value is near to zero, repairs are difficult to get done because they really were poorly designed, very troublesome when they go wrong. I have repaired two that gunsmiths gave up on. Triggers are a mare to work on.

I would actually avoid buying one at practically any price.

Hmmm, might look at B525 premium gold, i did also pick up a DT11 but felt very bulky to hold....And also way out of my price range

nasty nasty nasty :( I had one for about 3 months and it slapped me in the face something rotten, a lady shooter I know had to wear a gumshield when she shot her synthetic one until she chopped it for an ultra XS.

Moral of the story, Beretta make lovely slimline actions, Browning make chunky actions both work beautifully. Browning try and make a slim Beretta and it goes tits up :(

It's a totally different beast, don't worry about the connection, Mirokus are better built than Browning

Daughter's boyfriend has a Browning Cynergy or is a Citori, not sure. I haven't seen him shoot with it and he says it was recommended to him. Is the Citori any good? It's got a black action.

I once had a 1970's Citori, back in the 1980's, it was actually a Miroku of course, it shot really well too! I know nothing about the Cynergy though, or even if it is made by Miroku. I did hear that there is a newer Citori on the market but I haven't seen one and I have no idea if it's made by Miroku or not.
