Can someone remember a cartridge made by Gamebore - completely red that was cheap and was often used for reloading - Tony can't remember the name of it.  Thank you.

Loved them ,reloaders would give me 2p each for the emptys when i was a trapper, cant rmember the name though?

Sounds a bit cheap and tacky to me, I cannot see it selling these days.
Joking aside it hasn't really has it, I see more new Parcours and regular Perazzi's than the HiTech.  The trouble with these things is that those at the top will refuse to lose face and admit they've dropped a clanger.

To top it all it's not even hitech anyway   just a regular OU, I know one or two who have gone back to previous guns.

I think Mr Perazzi gave the game away badly in one of the videos I saw. He said something like, "we need to come up with something different to get our existing customers to change". Can't believe he said it out loud.

There are just so many things you can do to make people want to either change or swap from other makes, great big letters slapped on the action sides though !

There are a handful of great guns ruined by atrocious styling. As Wyle said the basic dt11 kicks it off, followed by the high tech, the mxs, the 725 grade 1, the 725 grade 1 mkii, beretta 692's and I'm sure there are countless others, all mechanically superb guns spoiled at the last minute with a child with a crayon!

You only have to look at the DT11 for another example...................
I'd say that one is an example of how far brand loyalty will carry you despite getting it wrong, there are loads of DT11's out there. They at least have taken steps to make good on the technical flaws plus they now offer the action in black, personally I never disliked the original design because it didn't have Eleven Bore Technology machine cut into it.

The point being these people need to talk to a couple of knowledgeable shooters out there first instead of passing things in internal meetings.

Shooters have learned to be unobtrusive in open society as they are reviled as the obvious criminals and corrupter of children that they are.  I suspect that this tendency also manifests itself in generally seeking out things attendant to the activity that are as well unobtrusive.

AFA  Perazzi is concerned they are in a difficult situation already having a design that has proven way difficult to improve upon.  As was mentioned the HiTech thing is anything but.  Wider and heavier  - - BFD!  If it had come standard with some kind of super adjusto stock it would have had at least that credibility and considering the usual production numbers it would not have been any big deal to do.  My newest one is 30+ years old and I'm not seeing any reason to move on.

On the cart thing - I used the Activ marketed here and reloaded them as well.  They were inconvenient as they required Activ wads due to different from norm internal dimensions IIRC.  And I only reloaded a case a 3-5 times so if they had any particular durability it made no difference to me.  They did look way cool tho.  An affordable all plastic case might find a more ready market these days for number of reasons.
