Was any body expecting a rise in the price of cartridges.

Just been checking out 'just cartridges' price list and it seems some brands have gone up buy about £8 a thousand.

They are offering a £7.50 per thousand discount for one month only, is the price rise to compesate for the discount or are we on the road to increasing prices by the month again?

Suppose so will be that 'old chestnut' of fuel etc going up, although some of the garages around here the price has dropped.

I have just bought a lot of cartridges. Not a special deal, but enough to waive a delivery charge (from Scotland). The economy will come from missing out on price rises in the next year..

Just Cartridges always seem expensive to me, they are £33 per 1000 more expensive than I am currently paying for Olympics and they have never been cheaper than my local shops.

I know they have never been the cheapest just they are local to me as i drive past on the way home from work.

We have the cheapest cartridges in Europe!

And with the new attack on lead from the WWT it is going to cost us all a lot more in the not too distant future.

If any of you are in the WWT........time to pull your cash out now!!

Amen to that..... they are expensive. Gotta pay for that iphone app somehow!

I bought a load at the beginning of the year to avoid the price rises and keep topping up as I use them.

I used JC once and waited weeks for delivery and worked out more expensive than buying locally in the end. Once bitten and all that.

what are olympics your way?

I've always had a positive experience buying from JCs. For Fiocchi Top Ones they're there or therabouts and 30 mins from me. I noticed Greenfields of Salisbury are (or were) selling Top Ones for £150/1000 which is about £20 less than JCs so that's where I'll go next for a bulk order, even factoring diesel costs there and back

What Mirage shells do you shoot? Shot a slab of Grand Italia yesterday at North Ayrshire, they were really fast and hard......£209 per 1000 though.

Hi,

I used to shoot the GrandItalia T3's. They are fantastic, but actually patterned a bit too tightly for a lot of sporting targets, especially the 7.5's (which are a UK 7). I now use the T2, which are good value at £180 and are all you ever need for sporting. They feel and pattern just like a Hull Pro One for about £25 less!

There are also T1's, which are £158. I suspect they are good enough for everything as well!

All Clever carts are clean in the gun and dont thump. I'm a fan.

Cheers,
