Waterproof skirt from William Powell , nice quality shirt to your taste from most country stores, new cartridge bag? moleskin trousers, brogues, hand warmer, cap , trilby.

The list could be endless depending on needs and taste. Unfortunately I seem to have most things so it looks like a lean Christmas , but can we not all depend upon our wonderful ladies guile and intuition?

Jan,

I shoot a semi auto at DTL , I have a shell catcher , the bloke who's moaning to my right, except peg 5 , where I pick them up.

A proper gentleman would have suitably trained person there to pick them up.

As to the gift - I've always found myself reluctant to part with the big $ for a really nice shooting vest.  The 150 quid would certainly cover that.  And for me anyway vests seem to last some time so it's not something that is just for a moment so to speak.  Currently I'm using a quite nicely made Beretta vest that I'm really happy with regardless of the festooning logos.  So much so I picked up another when they were on sale.  You might give some thot to that brand.
