I have only shot one "one arm trap", a Rafale 50yd crow out in an open field, shot it in the single easily, first up for doubles, easy 2 on the score board here we come, shot the first one where I shot it as a single, big mistake, made me too slow onto the second, tried to catch up with it dropping like a stone, powered through and poked underneath. Went back after the prize giving and shot it again 1/2 a second earlier and had loads of time to shoot the second.......lesson learned (I hope)

Nicola,

You're probably not aware of your less than civil, almost definitely deliberately abrasive style of engaging in discussions. This is a classic case in point, your response has absolutely nothing useful to add, by your admission it just doesn't interest you, yet you feel it's OK to derail it for your own amusement. I have no idea what the the J French thread is all about, it clearly held no interest for me so I appear to have done the decent thing and avoided it, why bring these into this particular thread?
No I am not.......so man up!!

I think the matter of whether the single trap stand is 'easy' or 'hard' is a seperate thing. More the point is that as ESP shooters we like variety. Endless variety. Thats why most of us just dont understand the appeal of trap shooting. We want to see as many different target presentations as possible. In fact, that is what will catch the Newbies out; variety. Learning to shoot all possible angles, curves and distances is what ESP success (and enjoyment) is all about.

Whoops forgot to add comment. Clever, you've summed it up perfectly. No matter how badly I'm shooting I can't wait to see what the next stand is going I be. And if it's the same target on report, you feel you've been short changed.
