Coleys today, a full house / sell out (180 places I think) that's really impressive for a winter mid week shoot, far cry from the 30/35 of us in the early days. Weather cold / overcast, nothing at all like the forecast, no wind but a slight misty drizzle now and then, or was it low cloud, er no.
My attempt and blowing cobwebs out at Barbary did not bear fruit, had a day to forget so its near forgot. Judging by the long faces and mutterings / rumblings seems a fair few others had one also. Now I did not think there was anything horrid or overly difficult, just no one that I saw shoot managed to put together a few stands to build a score of note (that's given the class anyone was in) Two stands shooting below the feet were I think a bit of a waste on a windless day, the place has far more windy days than not so putting them into the sky would have been a better choice Id suggest, that said bar St6 which was the gimme most stands made me look a chump. High gun was 95, although 90s were far far and few between, as before a day that's, for me and a few others near forget already.
