CPSA Young Shots day at the National Clays, Bisley.

A fabulous and enjoyable CPSA Young Shots day was held at the National Clay Shooting Centre, this Thursday the 11th April.  11 youngsters had enrolled for a day of information and an introduction to our sport.  Richard Worthington (CPSA National Development Manager) and Paul Rendell ( CPSA South East Regional Safety Officer) hosted the event.  A mixture of class room information and 'hands on' shooting saw the group enjoying their introduction to our sport.  For those interested, further days are being offered by the CPSA across the country.

By the way Alex Cobb's dad turned up with Alex trying to slip him into the course.  You know the answer, of course  - Bu**er o*f

There was also a CPSA Young Shots day at Southdown, where a further 11 youngsters took park and had a great time.

Thanks F&C for your post and input.  It is so important that we introduce young blood into our sport, and from what I hear Richard Worthington is hoping that with the current input and support from clubs across the country a total of over 300 is a possible attendance on current bookings and interest.  Along with promotion and input from all our current members and shooters, the numbers could well increase.   Wonderful !!
