I'm pleased to be able to report that the final installation of electrics were completed today on the new Floodlights installed on range 5

here at Dartford, as soon as I can, weather permitting, I will post a couple of pictures showing what they look like in the Dark.  :nyam:

Monthly floodlight shoots commence Thurs 31st January through the winter period - check out the ShootClay Calendar for details.  :hunter:

Ray will you have any comp's like lakenheath had on a wensday nite really been missing it

We had a couple of shooters trying it out tonight, and it looks good, plenty of light, the floodlights need a little tweeting / positioning but the light looks very good.  :nyam:

Will get some pictures and Video up shortly !!!  :nyam:

I'm up for some floodlit skeet once the weather's a little warmer. Will it be NSSA or English or both?

Whatever the majority of shooters want, I expect mostly English.  :preved:

Flash clays in the dark certainly add a new twist to skeet shooting.

Sorry to ask but who is skeetman....his name is not on his profile..??

Ray.  Should I presume these would be orange or white clays...surely not standard black?

If I make a suggestion having shot under the lights in the UK and overseas. Please use flash targets. Shooting in the dark without them doesn't really work.

Flash targets are expensive unfortunately for practice.

But.......if you use orange clays ....and......if it is actually dark and not just twilight....you will see them like dustbins.

The twilight time is a waste of time......trust me.....i am a picture framer...!! :mole:   :comando:

Well having shot in darkness at Lakenheath and in America (all use Orange Clay) Shooters have never really had a problem with them.

Flash Clays far too expensive for a practice / Fun shoot - shooters will not pay the extra - FACT  :nyam:

If you were to put up a couple of uv flood lights (not terribly expensive) the orange will ne incredibly bright 80s disco style it wont add much overall but will make orange blaze luminescent.

400 Watt Sodium bulbs no less, so no excuses for missing  :fie:

Crikey ray tbe sodium bulbs will give you loads of bright light but try a low voltage ultraviolet flood light will be like eavh clay is luminous

It's all trial and error at the moment so will wait and see what the shooters think.  :nyam:

Habe a look at this ray, maybe get at few boxes when in states next, blacklight would have the same effect on orange clays
