Your a brave girl Liz.
I am, aren't I? Such a big brave girl that by the time I was ready to try again I sneaked off to Barrow without telling anyone - and then couldn't move without running into people I knew! I've enjoyed the registereds where I've squadded with a chum most. I think it's mostly about setting expectations. It was all a bit of a culture shock at the time, I didn't realise how well I'd done for the stage I was at. There's just a huge gap between the odd social shoot or Chelsea Bun Club and a full blown CPSA competition.

I cant remember the last Reg I shot, never mind the first!

My spreadsheet reliably tells me it was May 2012, St Dials. 49/100

Cant remember anything about it, only that I'm still here and loving it...

It was a long time ago but I think it was Doveridge in about 1990 and I think I shot about 62

My first and second registered shoots were on the same day at Kegworth and then Orston, shooting with Nicky T and Timps. Bit of a baptism of fire really.

Kegworth was a swine of a shoot and I scored 66 I think. I'd calmed down a bit by Orston and shot a 77, which I was proper chuffed about.

And yes, you were a total misery guts at your first Catton shoot

Yep I remember it well, as I won some prize money at Orston that day. I also wondered how the heck I ended up shooting with a bloke from Rotherham and why he had his Jones adjuster fitted upside down to his gun. I then remembered you were from Rotherham I thought I best not say anything.

My first  was at Worsley Grange with a 60, targets were still set by Erick Knott but it was a darn sight tougher that the normal club shoot he used to put on.

Mine was at Charing Gun Club if memory serves, around the late 80's. They closed down years ago which is a shame as it was a lovely place with a natural high cliff, think I shot something like 72 in B class.

Yet to shoot one.  West Kent are supposed to be doing a few weekday ones this year, so that could be the first for me.  Unless I manage to get myself up to Greenfields on a Sunday morning before then,

1st Sunday of the month Bebo.

Longridge May 09, 42 never seen targets like it, (same ground shot a 28 on the bank holiday, didn't shoot again that year) my last outing was at Westfield a 49, as Im a glass half full chap Ive calculated that that is a 16.6% improvement, if I was a glass half empty chap Id wrap my gun round the nearest tree.

As Yazz keeps telling me "the only way is up" I didn't think I would still be such a long way from the said top

1st and only registered shoot was Orston just before Christmas. Scored a 55.

Going to shoot a reg comp in April (after 8 months of shooting experience) to see if I can improve on that score!

Hitting much better scores in practise on 50 bird layouts, so fingers crossed!

My first registered was at the old Shugborough just after Christmas 2012 in the snow. I loved it and shot a 66 or 67 i think. Shot with a really nice guy who i met in the club house who offered to take me round and show me the ropes. He was an A class shooter and the father of one of the top guys, but they never shot together. He shot an 88 which showed me how far away i was from where i thought i was :)

Just had a look through some old emails to Ed re coaching.
In my first mail to him I gave him my first registered score March 2012 at Grange 57 carded.

I was lucky my first reg was 100 DTL at Nottingham &district gun Club in 2002 the score was a memorable 100/296

AA class for ever
