Thats covered that then  I did think the non randomness of the clay direction was slightly one dimensional........I did like the software and post shot review but........its a lot for a very little it would seem

I think it might be ok for a beginner if it was cheap..

Personally, I would practice at home, mounting the gun as if shooting the light switch or whatever. Follow the line of the ceiling etc.

Gun hold really needs to be worked on when you start. If I might be so rude, your picture, as far as I can tell, shows that you have your face wrongly on the stock. It looks like is is touching just under your eye, on the cheekbone, when it should be nearer to your top teeth. You are likely trying too hard to get your eye lined up dead flat along the rib, when it should be a bit above it.

Also your front hand is not far enough forward to control the barrels well and your hand is only using fingers. Cradle the forend in your palm.

Maybe you have moved on from that photo. Hope you don't mind the comments.

Cheers

nowt wrong with decent advice - all welcome and i thank you for taking the time - years of using a rifle i think may be the issue here. Promised to get myself some instruction but.......I will try your advice

Hi

I really does look like a nice rifle hold!

Presumably the big challenge will be learning to not shoot AT the clay (or rarely). Folk with rifle experience have a harder time with this than non shooters do. Have fun learning!

Cheers

If you work out how many "clays" you can practice at home, added to the fact the development and what the product gives you back, then the price is very competitive indeed. If you shoot 500 clays per week on DryFire then that is £150 worth of clays - not long until you get your return back. I have used DryFire with many clients and looked at it as a system, it is very cost effective and has many benefits especially this time of year. It is great to use for training, especially after a lesson with a coach, really helps to work on the whole technical and mental areas.
