I have a friend who has been shooting a training cartridge with a 6mm high brass through their Beretta ASE I suggested they try Clever T2 as they are a good cartridge and as delivery is free they would not need to drive a 60 mile round trip to buy carts thus offsetting the difference in cost. First time of trying them they would not eject in fact a great deal of difficulty was had opening the gun. I have thought about this a bit an come to the conclusion it had something to do with the ejector timing. My thought is that the ejectors are ejecting the cartridges before the gun is fully open but because they have been using a cartridge that has only 6mm brass it does not catch on the breach and the plastic case get easily compressed allowing the gun to be opened and the empties ejected but because the Clever cartridge has 12mm brass the carts are fouling the breach face and not allowing the gun to open properly because the brass is not easily compressed and is catching on the breach. Has anybody got an idea what may be causing the gun not to open/eject properly? The only difference is in the height of the brass and the ejectors have been removed and cleaned. I have not had a look at the gun so I don't really know what is happening but it was just my thought this may be the problem.
