Just seen the above post- think that answers it!

And people can bang on about sandbagging all they like, but C class is the easiest place to improve from. It's very easy for someone to get a bit of coaching, get keen and put in scores way better than the average of a few months back. That's not sandbagging, just improving. To win I any class you need to work hard, and have a good day. You can have a great day just as you can have a stinker. Work at it and be the man on top of the pile!
Damn right. I should be picking up cash if I can shoot to the best of my ability.

Every person will only achieve a certain standard in life whether it be shooting, athletics, whatever sport they are in. Some will reach the top and be the very best and reap the big rewards and some won't.

Most people that have a competative nature will strive to reach the top in any class, just as with everything that little bit of extra cash helps to achieve thier goal.

I am only C class with 67.2 running average for this next classification which may put be into B depending on the cut off point, haven't won much cash but i still enter competiton to try and win and get as far as i can up the rankings.

Just saying a little cash helps along the way, trophies only need polishing.

Hello Mr coach here's £70 i just won in C class how about an hours coaching.

Hello Mr coach here's a trophy i just won how about i give you that for an hours coaching.(i don't think so).

Haven't heard too many people praising the targets!!

Just back from this and I thought the targets were good. They all looked eminently hittable, with the exception of the first singles on stands 5 & 6. The trouble is, looking hittable, and being hittable are two different things, at least from C class. Deceptive flightlines and distance/speed, meant that they were harder than they looked. Clever course setting IMHO

Weather was pefect, the company excellent, and the bordeaux I've just opened will polish off the day nicely.

Thought the targets were fine, testing and fair - just pilot error for me. Hot, Dusty and Dry - blazing sunshine all day.

Mark Winser won it after a three way shootoff from tied scores of 95 - Scott Greenfield and Brett Hand 2nd and 3rd respectively.

More thoughts when I have hydrated a bit!

Well done to all :)

Totally agree

Looking at tha overall results/picture stands 5&6 were definately the ones to sort the men from the boys. Stand 6 i hit 2 out of 3 of the long midi crosser but could not find what appeared to be the gimme.

Hit my average 68% so not to disappointed.

well i straighted both stand 5 and 6 but unfortunately stand 5 was with zero's. pleased to clear stand 6 though.

English Open at High Lodge. A great shot and a great lad, when hes on form he is one of ther best. Keep your eye on him at the Classic- he will be nice and relaxed and obviously in good form. Dangerous combo!

Well shot at the EO for you also Ed! I wont be ruling you out for the Classic (if you are entered..)
