We used to fly with guns on Ryanair from B'ham to Montechiari which was a small military airport a stones throw from Brescia. It was the perfect route, rarely busy and no mad fight to get an exit seat. A sad day when they stopped taking guns.

Always read it. But rarely remember it it would seem.

Sorry for your plight Jem. It is very frustrating. Bloody Ryan Air.
All sorted now. Easyjet to Verona.

And we gain four more hours at the workshops.

Silver lining and all that.

Didn't need that £500 for the extra flights.

Very Frustrating Jem thankfully won't make the same mistake in the new year have been known to be careful around a pound note and to lose that many would leave me distraught so i feel your pain. :fie:

And watch out for Verona staff trying to charge you money to carry guns to the plane on the way back. Make sure you take the paperwork showing that you have already paid this on your EasyJet tickets. In the past i fell for this....until i was checking in with Italian friend who bollocked them....then there was no charge.

Watching an Italian bollock someone is funny as hell!!

My wife and I were in Napoli and were meeting an Italian friend in a Café.  We were sat at a table, when a young-ish woman came over, being friendly, speaking English and generally being nice.

We were getting quite comfy talking to her, when our friend arrived; and started shouting and swearing at her and waving her hands about like what Italians do "BL-BLAHH.!!!  B-B-BLAAAHH B-BLAH B-BLAH!!!!"  Nice girl leaves quickly . . .

She was a pick-pocket/thief, as are popular in Napoli.  :)
