beretta? I'm another not so happy dt11 owner, but that's another story, is it fiber wad wad your shooting?

My good ladies and my mk 70 cleaned no probs with light oil (liegh) brush and mop. Then got sv 10 tried same regime. Mk 70 still no issues, sv10 took multiple cleans, even copper brush at the end of electric drill to clear the lead. Now got mk 38. Just as easy as original mk70.(thank god)

in answer to Robert i think beretta quality changed after the 682 gold and ase era so that's about 2003.

only my opinion of course.

You know Robert the vast majority of anything is good.

You will always get Friday guns, cars, TV, anything.

Does not mean they are all crapp.

The Internet exposes this and if anything makes manufacturers more aware to improve quality.

Gun, car magazines are not so critical because it puts the advertising revenue at risk.

If yours are working fine don't worry.

My Beretta 682 Supersport is a 1992 and is clearly faulty. Damn thing will not shoot 100 straight at Sporting no matter what I do with it. Been up into the 90's on occasion but let me down at the end. I've had it from new and never realised it must be a Friday afternoon gun. Perhaps I'll give it until it's 25 years old and then see about changing it if it doesn't perform to a higher standard.

I've put thousands of cartridges through it over the years and never once had a build up of lead fouling anywhere in the barrels, and it has never rusted. It has been out in all sorts of fair and foul weather and been used hard on occasions. The only time the stock ever came off it was for the first couple of months after I bought it so I could finish the woodwork to my liking. Same firing pins, same springs, it has never been serviced and never missed a beat. Admittedly it is getting a little tired now but then so am I, so we suit each other.

I've been looking to upgrade for over 10 years now and never found anything which felt better, no matter what the price was, and I have looked at all the makes (except Krieghoff obviously!!)

Maybe, just maybe I found the holy grail of guns? Maybe I'm just lucky?    Or maybe I have looked after it? You decide.

Mike you are one lucky lucky chappy. Think of all that money you have saved not going down the change it route.

With hind sight I would have kept my B25 B7, shot that gun really well. Brought the DT10, it went wrong, while being repaired used the B25.

It kicked like my Lesley kicking me out of bed for FARTING on her.

I got rid and brought my first K.

That's no reason to get kicked out of bed! I call that spreading the love. Lesley should be honoured as it's not everyone you fart on (I hope?).

Perhaps the bang on the head you received when you fell caused you to buy the K? :)

barrels replaced due to poor machining twice....enough about bloody Beretta's and back to the Browning please :p
Poor machining - can you share any details there?  I'm curious because I am seeing a few reports.

The gun may need nothing more than the forcing cones polished.  Pretty simple matter if you like the gun otherwise.

I asked if you were using fiber cause the plastic is a pain to shift on my guns I don't shoot fiber so lead Is never a problem
