Second one is now out but it took some serious force!

The two chokes are wrecked, think I will remove them after every shoot,

Any aftermarket choke recommendation and a good choke lube?
Have you checked the condition of the thread in the barrels.

Threads are ok, shooting tomorrow night, picking up some new chokes from GC sat.

They will be coming out after every shoot.

do you guys just grease the thread or the thread plus tube?

I do the whole lot - just a smear. Screw in and out a couple of times just to make sure the grease gets all over.

just bought myself a fixed choke gun so i could prove it to myself
A wise move. Load carts, look for the target, mount and shoot (yes pun intended). Non of this fannying around changing chokes (ooh which ones for this target), never having to worry about - will they get stuck-, Easy to clean barrels. Absolute bliss!!!!!!!!!!

Yep i only have one multi choke gun the rest are ALL fixed. My only regret, well a small one- i wish the multi choke was fixed.

Isn't choice a wonderful thing!!!!!!!!!

Les, I think you have it right there.  Seems as tho most of what Rosso blathers is parrot-based.  Prolly wouldn't be such a problem if he'd let the parrot shoot a decent gun.
