The trigger mech would probably last a lifetime but may need some adjustments at some point, the pins somewhat less. I owned a 682 for 10 years which never needed a single thing and have had my current 682e for maybe 15 years and that's had one action disc when it shot off the face after 100k rounds (two shims are recommended but that made the gun impossible to open and I later learned the originals could/should just have been swapped round).
The spindle broke around the same time and was replaced (unsurprising as oil is a dirty word for me), couple of months ago I had the U bolt replaced because the lever had come round to almost straight instead of slight RH incline, it functioned fine with no problems but 165k+ shells I though I'd treat her.
This gun too is on original pins still and neither has it had any trigger mech work.
PS. whatever it cost Mr. B to produce it was the achievement of the century because it owes me nothing. If I had to guess I'd say probably £300 or thereabouts to produce given their economies of scale.
