I think we might have booked on just after you Al, the lady referee at the top is called Marie, she refs at Kegworth too
Hi Andy, you were one of the two gents climbing up the hill with sweat after we shot that stand :D Was nice meeting you guys.
Good write up Al and well done to you both on those scores.

That's it now, you've done your first registered and hopefully many of the anxieties you had prior to it will go away which can only help you focus on the shooting.

Keep in touch and next time Doveridge is on I'd be happy to meet up and go around together if you like.

Iggy.
Thanks Ian, will give you a buzz on the next one. Looking to shoot more registered at other grounds also, love the challenge, loving the buzz, addiction has now taken a step further, need to get those numbers higher now.
Hi Alan and Josh

Glad you enjoyed it,and if you managed to pluck up the courage to shoot on such a busy day(165+ entries)you will be just fine anywhere else.

After reading your post i realised i had seen you going round and remember taking your cards off Josh at one of the stands to hand in for you,i noticed your names on the card and don't know why the refs should have got them wong ;)

Good luck trying to control the addiction of competition shooting now.

Kev
Hi Kev, there were a few shooters who handed our cards into the reffs for us, thankyou very much for being one of them, your a true gent. :) Please do not think i am being ignorant if i do not recognise you next time you see us. We met so many people that day, so many new faces, hard to remember all

And Kev, if i got £1 for everytime i heard that joke, i would have made millions :.:

well done, great write up, I went to the same shoot, I was in a bit of a rush as I only just managed to get there on time to buy card 170! it was a good shoot and you both did well to put in those scores, especially on a windy day and Josh with the flu, have fun with the sport and you'll go from strenght to strength. :)
