If you have multi choke, and like me, never change them 1/2 and 3/4. Shot this arangement for everything, then buy a fixed choke gun.

If you might dabble with the chokes, then buy a multichoke.

Simple.

My next gun will be fixed choke.

Sorry didnt read thread fully.

If you see a gun you really like and feel its worth spending the extra on converting it, go for it

If any doubt on the gun then look for a multi choke version

The main thing is to get the gun you want.

If you can afford it, dont make do, you will regret it.

I give up!
Don't give up...just read the thread properly :)

The OP asked if it was possible to convert from fixed chokes to multi-chokes.  The answer is yes and it doesn't matter what discipline he shoots, the answer is still yes.  It doesn't matter if he has never shot before and doesn't own a gun yet...the answer is still yes.

If the question was "are multi chokes better for me than fixed chokes" then your answer would be a good one.
