Might now have the day off on Wednesday. Can someone recommend somewhere in Kent I can go to shoot a few clays on my own as my son who normally comes with me is at college.

As im new to this I would like somewhere thats pretty relaxed and wont mind if I dont rush. If im honest I quite fancy going alone so I can do my own thing at my own pace in my own little world.

I hope wanting to go alone doesnt make me sound like a grumpy old man

West Kent uses the claymate system that allows you to select what clays you want and then gives you a delay after pressing the button so you can shoot on your own.

Kings Ferry, just on the Isle Of Sheppey are usually open on Wednesday.

Mainly Skeet, but they have a Compact there as well.

VERY friendly and helpful people.  They will button for you and even coach you FOR FREE.  Skeet, is a VERY good way to learn how to shoot and will help your sporting.

Steel shot only, but they sell it onsite (cheaply).

Willow Farm is open on wednesdays.  They'll button for you if you are on your own.

Can't help you John as I live miles away in the Midlands. But I am bound to say how good is that? You ask a question and get tip top answers within 30 minutes.

Enjoy your shoot tomorrow,

Good work!
