First time visit for me to this very nice ground near Canterbury.

Definitely worth a visit with very friendly staff, decent grub, and a good array of tricky but fair targets.

Normally their only registered events are on the first Sunday of the month, but Sunday 11th was an extra for the Kent Sporting Championship.

In fact I was thrilled with a 77 on the day. Not quite as good as my PB 83 at Barrow Heath a few weeks ago, but still five better than my previous PB, so still really chuffed.

I knew in advance that last entry was midday, and we weren't far from that when we started and were probably the last people shooting, and although I have to say that the staff in no way acted like I was causing a problem, I did find that I was putting myself under pressure to get finished, and definitely rushed a few shots.

Will definitely go again, but just need to get my arse out of bed earlier.  :beach:

Hi Guerini guy very nice to see you and mrs guerini glad you enjoyed the shoot
Hopefully you will beat your pb next time 77 was a good score as the highest was only 92 well shot
Hope your wife likes the skeet vest

As for Mrs GG, well she was thrilled with the skeet vest - very kind of you Sir  :thumbsu:
