Shot 50 bird sporting yesterday at local club,shot better than last week on a difficult layout so was not disappointed.

Pauline had her first go without an instructor and with all the groups of guys waiting around behind us I could see she was like a rabbit in the headlights. She shot badly. Still it was her first go alone and the plus side is her shoulder was fine afterwards and she cant wait to have another go.

The only cure for those nerves is more exposure to competition.  No other way around it....

Glad she's enjoying herself and welcome to the addiction.  I'm also a former equestrian (low level eventer) and guns are a hell of a lot safer than horses, for sure.

 
no one actually cares there looking at the targets not at the shooter.
