Great ground - am looking forward to a FITASC Sporting there in November - it's a 2.5 hour trip for me, so a bit far for a sporting - but worth the trip for a full day with a good squad. 

One of my top three grounds...

I may well do Jezza As there doesn't seem to be much Fitasc closer to home at the mo or coming up, could take a bit of planning for a stop over night before to make it a bit less driving the day of comp

Thanks for the info WB and GavB sounds like I maybe to late to get this one then, may just give them a ring in case there are places for the Sat

Shot the 100 bird open sporting shoot there on Sunday. Again superb shoot over 16 stands in beautiful surroundings. They had a large entry but with the 16 stands there were no big queues.

i shot and enjoyed grimsthorpe  16 great stands ,  i struggled though my skill set not good enough 64  scored ,   mark Russell  has big plans for grimsthorpe  which is good news  for us shooters  i always enjoy it there  , to think i won the lincs  in 2005   there  ,  its all gone pete tong !
