Many thanks for everyone's best wishes. Much appreciated.

I am now 50 and 1 day old and can confirm that i do not feel a day over 70. Woke up this morning with the usual sciatica, the usual bad neck and just to confirm that i am indeed knackered a new ailment of a painful knee. I have no idea were or how i got the latter but i can hardly walk on it. Life begins at 50 my Arse.

Anyway onwards and upwards and thank the lord for scotch and prescription heavy duty pain killers. Not at the same time i hasten to add

Oh the joy of middle age.
