I use a heated jacket (actually a sleeveless gilet) in winter, walking the dog etc. It’s the type with the very thin wires through the jacket, in the collar, the shoulders and the chest and back. It runs off a battery pack and is really good.

Has anyone ever worn one when shooting? I’m worried that the recoil would damage the wires. If anyone has tried this successfully, I would be interested to hear; as I get older, I get colder!

Can I ask, if when you call pull, a round of toast pops up from the breast pocket ? 🤔
No, but it’s impressive when you pull out a hot bacon sarnie from your pockets halfway through the day.

Just got this for when sitting around in the warehouse at work:

£13.99 plus battery £10ish depending on power.
No wires in the shoulder area, only problem if you're left handed you may keep turning it on and off, so your toast may not brown!!
Lets us know how it works for you, I ended up with the type I got as tried a few other “cheap” ones and found using a standard usb power pack that after random periods of use the vest would turn itself off. Tried a few power packs with same result.
No such issue with the type I finished up with, hence why I purchased a second spare one.
