Hi I'm not far from the Oxford gun company. But I haven't actually shot there yet! Not confident enough.

Welcome Oscar.  There seem to be a few of us newbies from Oxfordshire.  I've only been shooting a few months but have definitely got the bug.  I've shot at Oxford Gun a couple of times and really enjoyed it.  

Don't worry too much about your scores.  Just go out and enjoy yourself.
