Happened to me at Malaga airport

It's happened a few times to me in the past. I'm usually travelling with at least one other person. One of us makes a beeline for the luggage carousel to watch for them just in case (geddit) whilst the other susses out where they should officially turn up. It's not the airlines fault but sloppy baggage handlers.
Perhaps the rest of the world aren't so gun obsessed/irrational and see a shotgun or rifle case and see no more than they would with a bike or some skis?

nah, he didn't say 'high velocity' the journalist obviously added it to the story to sex it up. usual appalling journalism.

I would have gone with "rifle that can fire a tactical nuclear round" was left on a baggage carousel! but, then I always wanted to work Sunday Sport! ;)

  At least its a conservative newspaper!  If there were no tits in the Sun and Star no one would buy them! :fie:

It happens all the time.

I didn't realise it at the time but now I think about it I was deeply traumatised. I must contact the press and sue....

It means you get away a bit quicker.

FFS, grow a pair

I just clicked on the link and read the story...turns out this wee guy Ben Monksummers has already got a gripe with Easy Jet because of some sort of 'fine' to take his diabetic medication onboard an Easy a Jet flight...it seems he has seized his opportunity to take a cheap shot at Easy Jet by sensationalising a 'nothing' story in the British press about his rifle coming round the baggage carousel...he would be better serviced putting his time/energy into training rather than pot shoting at an airline!!!

I need a gin....I am finding myself agreeing with JJ and liking his posts......do i need a doctor.....
