Thanks again chaps

you have both described perfectly what is happening :) im definately either rushing way past or already too far in front and maintained as Hamster said, it does only seem to happen on fast stuff

two local strawbalers always put on close and fast targets and i always struggle there

as always advice much appreciated

Mickey was walking in just as we left Will - but if Gwyn hit a 96, then I'm expecting that will be there or thereabouts.

Very right about the Hornet site - last results are this time last month.

Confirmed Gwyn did hit a 96.

Congratulations Gwyn. Well shot.

Anyone know who won yet?

Thanks Clever so now it has been confirmed.

Well done Elvis if you are looking in.....you will have some money to pick up.

I am sure others who were there will now rush to congratulate you and that score of 96...................whoopee!!!!!

Come on everybody.....big it up for Elvis!!

:D :D :D :D

Elvis please do not mention to everyone that you only use 24 grms or we may need the popcorn.......what with you being a 'profeshnieeeel shooter' because you have been shooting for years .....and you won the shoot. ;)

I thought the 95 from S Leonard was stupendous, the 96 is very very classy.

Just proves that some people can have the odd very good day. (Except me, who is amazingly consistent..) Thats way above his average.. Still great on the day.

Both I guess.. Steve Leonard has a higher average than GP and I would expect him to win between the two on most occasions..

Well maybe it is actually all down to years of shooting both clays and game and being able to focus and enjoy pulling the trigger no matter how many trap breakdowns or other distractions are there.

Elvis is not a new commer, I cannot speak for the other as I do not know him.

The targets were there to be shot for everyone.

Maybe the secret for focus is to make it harder by shooting 24grms when all around are throwing the maximum lead out. Just like Fauldsy shooting skeet in a major with full and full and 6.5's

Laugh out loud.

Elvis has been brewing a day like this, and well deserved it is too. Seen him shoot on many occaisions both feather and clay and theres not many more instinctive and natural out there. Not bad for a near pensioner :.: :.:
