just joined NGO.
many may be aware that public liability insurance does not cover "paid work" as beater, loader etc from any of the major shooting associations although basc inform me you are unless you earn more than 3.5k however T&C specifically states 'any payment" means your activity is not recreational. Anyway with NGO for an additional £10 per year you can increase the cover for paid beating, picking up, loading up to earnings of 5k. I think this is well worth it for peace of mind.
