Jem are you sure they said "skeet" in the woods? Local dialect / regional accents etc.

Good luck to all for the rest of your stay and take care coming back, that's if we will let you back in! :)

Good pics again jem it looks a great area your shooting in over there have a good day tomorrow and wish you all a safe journey home .

Hi guys nice to read reports and see pics and most importantly you seem to be enjoying yourselves !!!!!

The first thing that strikes me is that it looks fairly flat land with a lot of tall trees , do they use lifts and Cheryl pickers to gain height or is it more low targets ( sorry course setter in me )

Steve

Hi Steve

Thanks for following

No lots of topography.

A few scaffold towers.

Mixture of targets is great.

Setter makes you think and need to concentrate. Lots pop out from tree lines to make you rush the mount.

Hard to tell the distance clay size one was a flat battue today thrown as a driven.

Refs working to new rules. Some tell us what's coming (direction only) others are blank.

Very interesting , what's the general feeling with not knowing what type of clay you are shooting at , I personally don't like it , the games hard enough all ready IMO but rules are rules

Are you shooting 3 singles on 3 hoops and 4 singles on 1 hoop ?????

Do you shoot the doubles straight after the singles or come out after singles before double

Sorry jem nosey bugger aren't I ????

All the best Steve

We all have a looksee and discuss before without the ref knowing on clay size.

It seems to add some flavour but zeros are definitely happening because of it.

Yes 3 on 3 and 4 one 1.

Singles first come out.

Then doubles.

Ask away Steve.

Will update in a while.

I finished on 123/200 which I'm pleased with.

18/25 Krieghoff

14/25 Beretta

The others are out or sleeping

Tough day out there for the Shootclay squad.

Well shot peeps, looks a bit cold and wet while we were basking in the sun :D

it still rains in Spain and I assume a shooting ground is going to be on a plain :D

Phew - we're back, feeling a bit tired after driving thorugh Czech mizzle this morning, and lots of hanging around at the airport.

Jem's done a great job of report writing, better that I managed at the World's last year.

Overall we had a great time, met some nice people and did loads of shooting at some pretty tough targets. There were a few times the weather got the better of us, felt freezing and wet, just wanted to get to a hot bath. Definitely affected my scores on a few pegs.

Wendy had a great squad, very supportive and offerring help and advice on the way round. The cost of living over there is remarkable, on our last night we eat very well, steaks, 2 bottles of wine, desserts, and many soft drinks, less than £55 for all four of us. TeePee hit it off with the bar owner, and wanted to bring her home with him. There was a bit of a language barrier, but Jem was quick with the translator app on the I phone, that meant we at least got ice cream with the puddings and not with the steaks.

The ShootClay team eat together every evening, and we had a ball, thanks guys & roll on Madrid :)

Me and dad got back seven.

What a great trip.

Loved it.

Thanks for Teepee for being my co-pilot.

Topped out at 135 on the way back.

Oh to have those roads here.
