Its great I have had so many positive comments about it...makes me feel I may have got it right for a change.
Yes you have got it right! The 680 series of guns have been around for decades now, i doubt if there is a gunsmith in the country that hasn't worked on one. As far as I know they rarely go wrong if looked after, but if they do, parts are cheap and easy to get hold of. If at some point in the future you do decide to change guns, as most of us have, you will have no trouble getting rid of a 686 at all.
