There is not much to see in the media yet, but it looks like the new Krieghoff `K80 Parcours` is their offering of a much more normal gun (than a K80 Supersport).

It seems that the have taken many of the K80 Supersport features `off` such as adjustable comb, extended chokes, detached barrels with hanger and stepped rib to name but a few. This appears to leave a lighter gun that is, well, `normal`. It seems to apologise for the Supersport; which is often known as a `Marmite` gun.

I tried my old K80 Supersport recently and did not like it. The stepped rib especially gave me a funny impression of where I was pointing. So, if a Krieghoff was for me, I would be interested in trying the Parcours. The only part about making this gun `more conventional` that they seem to have missed is the price. I heard £10k!!!!!

If I remember correctly Don had some shots with it at the shooting show. Said it handled more like a "conventional" gun. Bit whippier in the barrels etc. I think they are aiming squarely at the perrazi market with this one. Take the bells and whistles off but keep the solid K gun action.

Just buy a cupboard full of MK38's instead and spend the spare on hard liquor

Watching the video it would appear that the batch of 25 in production for delivery in June have all been preordered  Recession what recession.

I think he said pre-ordered by the dealers. There'll always be money about whatever the climate.

I can now let you into a very closely guarded secret.

I have been shooting a Parcours for years!

But mine is called an MK38  :.:  :.:

Or you can buy a Remington 32 from about £500 on Guntrader

Thats what I dont understand. See my original post. Why make a more conventional gun, (I like the idea) but still think that you can sell it for extreme money? Like Bentley making a family saloon, without the hand-stitched leather or W12 engine, but still wanting £130,000.

Perhaps they think they can sell them? I wouldn't be surprised if they all sell reasonably quickly

can confirm the price is £8,800 if I remember correctly....it handles almost exactly how you wouldnt expect a K-80 to handle...... Quick, whippy, agile.....in short yes its a german built Perazzi......something quite special in my opinion and Im looking forward to testing it on some fitasc targets as soon as I can squeeze one out of Haggis...

Don,

If it's one of Haggis's specials it will be a German built Perazzi with a Miroku stock

I had a handle of one today. Didn't shoot it, but it feels exactly like the average Perazzi to me.

Nice. Like to shoot one out of interest..

DT11? Shot a 32ins sporter today. Very interesting, to say the least. It feels like a DT10, in fact they are so similar it is difficult to tell them apart when you are shooting. It shoots very smoothly, moves nicely and the recoil is moderate - with Clever Grand Italia anyway. The cosmetics will probably grow on you, nothing special really, stock dimensions are typical DT10 in that it would suit most people but maybe feels a little short for some. The big hurdle is the price, a nicely sorted DT10 could be had for half the price of a new DT11 and that is the main stumbling block. A nice gun though for all that and you will see them everywhere I'm sure.
