Why would you want a German built Perazzi?

Why would you want a gun similar to a DT10 at nearly twice the price?

Why would you want a Krieghoff without all the tweeks such as adjustable comb and barrel convergence for only very slightly less price than with them?

Why would you want to spend five times the cost of a Miroku and yet not have the ability to shoot any better?

Why do we spend so much money on guns but not on lessons?

Why do we spend so much money on guns but moan about entry fees?

Why do we moan so much?

Why are we such a miserable bunch of buggers?

It's a Sport, a hobby, a pastime, Enjoy it, laugh! Smile it's good exercise.

Because Salopian the majority of shooters out there are looking for a quick fix and the answer to shooting consistently good scores!!!

The same as those who by all the latest chokes out!!! The new glow beads and other bells and whistles that really are never going to turn you into Mr Digweed!!!

The sad fact is down the years I know lots of people who have had many different guns looking for that fix!!!

Like you say the majority should except they are not going to break everything just enjoy it and have fun!!!

Glen.

I'm the first to vote for Mirook as the far out winner of best value for money gun you could win with at well under £1k, a 2nd hand 682 is a little dearer but even better engineered if we're honest.

But I can understand why people spend £6-£10k on some guns like Perazzi or Krieghoffs as the level of engineering really is outstanding plus you get to have them properly made to your spec if need be. Life's too short as Salopian himself says so why not? The Parcours looks pretty good to me actually compared to the other offerings from the same maker.

I think the interesting point is that K have produced this gun.. Almost an admission that the K80 is weird and that normality is right after all, for most shooters. Totally agree that it's too expensive!

So eventually you will all agree with me and agree that a Miroku is wonderful, you don't need anything else and I will be elected by the membership as Chair of the CPSA and also the CEO all rolled into one at no cost to the membership as I am now a pensioned off MoD silver surfer who manages on his meagre pension.

The CPSA will at last be on an even Keel, I will get 120,000 BASC members to defect and life in the garden will be rosy.

Ooops it's time for my medication and a tumbler of Grouse.

I was with you for the first line, cold hard facts :D then it just went completely mad, 120,000 defecators would certainly make the garden rosy  :.:

I'd go along with that word for word.

Anybody on here shot one of these yet?
I keep hoping to see one too, the other day somebody had a Perazzi HPX with 34" tubes, couldn't believe how light it was, the guy must have been 6'5" but he said he shot a lot of game.

On Friday - 13th - I saw the first K80 Parcours which had been delivered to a customer in the UK. He'd picked it up the previous day. It felt very well balanced and light. We didn't weigh it but I figured about 8lbs. He shot very well with it, but then he has shot for England.

Despite one being available at Wylye yesterday, I didnt shoot it. (I was a bit head-down after my round, needed food and it was getting late after a busy day). I did handle Haggis' one and it immediately felt very light compared to my P. Lovely balance though.

Any more reports from anybody who has shot one; yesterday or otherwise?
